17th Annual Race to Wrigley 5K Charity Run
Calling all runners!
Step up to the plate for Chicago's youth during the 17th Annual Race to Wrigley 5K Charity Run Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Wrigley Field.
Runners will race through the Lakeview neighborhood before entering Wrigley Field and will cross the finish line just steps away from the Wrigley Field Marquee. Runners will have a chance to run on the warning track on the field as a part of the race course. The first 5,000 in-person runners to register also will receive one reserved ticket to the September 27 game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Those who are eligible will receive their ticket via the MLB Ballpark app by September 26, 2022.
Runners are also able to participate in the race virtually. You can map out a 5K course of your own and complete the race.
The registration fee for the in-person race is $39 and $25 for children ages 12 and under. Registration prices for in-person race will increase August 19. The virtual option is $44 for both adults and children. The virtual option price includes the shipment of all participant items for each virtual participant.Proceeds from the race will benefit Cubs Charities and its mission is to mobilize the power of sport to champion youth, families and communities. Cubs Charities will donate proceeds from personal fundraising to support Advocate Children's Hospital. The first 25 people to fundraise $500 will receive an autographed item by a current or former Cubs player.
