Benefitting: Cubs Charities
Event Fundraiser: 2024 Race to Wrigley 5K Charity Run
Another year, another season of Cubs baseball, and another opportunity to run in the Race To Wrigley! The first time I ran in the Race to Wrigley was back in 2013. At the time, it was a sort of reward to myself as I worked to get my body back into shape, and it gave me a great excuse to visit the Friendly Confines. Now it's a great way to support my community and give back, with the help of friends and family.
As always, the Race serves as a way to raise funds for Cubs Charities and Advocate Children's Hospital. This year is particularly special because the funds will go to support their work to provide mental health services to children and their families. My wife and I know firsthand the struggles emotional and psychological struggles children today are experiencing, and programs like these need all the support they can get.
Please consider making a donation, whatever you feel comfortable doing, to support Advocate Children's Hospital and help these kids and their families. Also, please share this page with others, or even consider joining the race and start fundraising yourself. And of course, GO CUBS!
