There is no minimum age requirement for participating.

What is the difference between the 5K Timed Run and the 5K Fun Run?

Timing chips will be provided for participants who have signed up for a timed race. After both races conclude, individual results will be posted on www.racetowrigley.com. Fun Run participants will not be timed and will not appear on the results page. The Fun Run is perfect for individuals who are not competing for a time or who prefer to walk.

What is the Youth 5K Fun Run?

New in 2017, Cubs Charities will be offering a special youth price exclusive to children ages 13 and younger. Cubs Charities will be subsidizing this discounted price as part of the organization's mission to motivate youth to stay active. This special youth price only applies to the Fun Run and does not include a timing chip.

When does registration open and close?
Online registration will open Monday, November 28, 2016, at 8 a.m. CDT and will close on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at 11:59 p.m. CDT.

Is there a fundraising minimum?
No, runners are not required to set up a personal fundraising page to participate in Cub Charities’ Race to Wrigley 5K, however, personal fundraising can make a significant impact in the lives of Chicago’s kids.

May I register someone else for the race?
Yes, parents and legal guardians can register their child(ren) for the race. You also may give a race registration as a gift to a friend or family member; however, they must complete registration online prior to registration close Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at 11:59 p.m. CDT.

How do I pick up my T-shirt & bib?
Pick up your race packet in person prior to the race at a location to be announced soon Thursday, April 27, or Friday, April 28, from noon-7p.m. A friend of family member can pick up your race packet for you by presenting a copy of your phot ID and registration confirmation email.If you have a group of 5 or more, please contact Special Events Management at 773-868-3010 to designate an individual to pick up packets for your group,

Where do runners get their timing device?
Timing chip will be attached to the runner's bib number.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Only credit cards are accepted online.

Are there restroom facilities at the race location?
Yes, portable restrooms will be available near the course start.

Will water be available during the race?
Yes, water tables will be located at the finish line as well as the halfway point on the course.

Do runners have to participate in teams and race together?
No, team participants can race individually even if they fundraise as a team.

How can I find a runner's personal web page?

Click on “Sponsor a Runner." This will take you to the "Participant Search and Donate" page where you can find the person you are looking for and make a donation to support them.

Are baby strollers allowed on the race route?
Yes, but you must start in the back of the 5K Fun Run group. Babies up to the age of 2 do not need to register. All participants from the age of 2 to 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian.

Can I bring my dog to the race?
Dogs are not allowed on the course.
